If you have a child that you must bring, please ensure you have someone else to care for him/her during your session.
- Q: Who are you and why should I care?
- A: Rob Smith Photography is just a small fish in a big pond trying to gain more expertise in the photography scene. This project is something I just dreamed up and I think it will be nice to showcase the short hair beauty in the KC Area.
- Q: I have visible tattoos, scars, disfigurements, or some other reason I don’t want to be photographed. Will you cover them up?
- A: No. Come as you are.You will see very quickly that I want to showcase your individuality and everything it comes with.Instead of hiding it, I may actually accentuate and showcase it!Unless it’s a temporary issue, like a zit or cut of some sort… then attempt to cover it, but I can take care of some of that stuff in post editing.
- Q: Just females, seriously?
- A: Yes.This is a special project just for females at this time. If you are a male and have an idea for a special project, please submit the idea for consideration.
- Q: But what if I am a cross-dresser (male posing as female)?
- A: Yes, if you can pull it off correctly. Please sign up and let’s chat about your concept and see if it fits within the boundaries for my end goal.If you are extreme, I may consider you at this time, but for a separate project.Lets chat!
- Q: What if I can’t make my scheduled appointment?
- A: I realize things come up. However, you will have to up your game on the excuse you provide, as I have heard them all.Seriously, please make every effort to make your appointment, as all of our time is valuable. If possible, please provide at least 48 hours-notice if you need to either cancel or reschedule.
- Q: I don’t know any pro HMUA, can I do it myself?
- A: Yes, if you can prove to me that you can handle a comb and some base foundation.Don’t go too extreme on the makeup, but please do bring yourself prepared for a high resolution photograph that will catch nearly every pore on your face.Yes, that’s right… every pore!
- Q: I better not do my own makeup, do you know someone?
- A: I have a few HMUA’s that can be contacted for getting you ready. Typical charge is between $75 to $100 for their time and product used.
- Q: What if I like more than the 2 photos you are providing for no-cost?
- A: Purchases can be made available at a nominal cost, depending on what you are desiring.
- Q: What if I don’t like any of my photos?
- A: I will have a licensed professional counselor onsite to handle any trepidation you may have on my ability to capture that perfect photograph of you. Seriously, you will like your photo or I will give you 100% of your money invested to me (not the HMUA, that’s on you). That’s right, this is a free event, so come with your happy face, leave your inhibitions behind, and let’s make some kick ass art celebrating you – you beautiful female, you!
